About Maycar

She earned her Law degree with Cum Laude honors in 2003 from the prestigious Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM). She holds a Master’s in Business Law from the Universidad Francisco de Vitoria in Spain, in collaboration with the Madrid Bar Association and the Fundación Carolina, as well as a Master’s in Constitutional and Procedural Constitutional Law from PUCMM, where she also completed a specialization in Sports Journalism.

She has participated in numerous diploma programs, workshops, and seminars related to her areas of practice. She is an arbitrator at the Alternative Dispute Resolution Center of the Santo Domingo Chamber of Commerce and Production, and a certified judicial interpreter and translator in English authorized by the Judiciary. She currently teaches at the National School of the Judiciary (ENJ) and Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE), and has also assisted in teaching at Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña (UNPHU). She has been a speaker in various diploma programs, seminars, and panel discussions.

Her legal practice spans both the public and private sectors. In the public sphere, she served as Legal Advisor to the Constitutional Court and worked in the Legal Consultancy Office of the Executive Branch. In the private sector, she has practiced law at prestigious firms in various jurisdictions of the country, including Punta Cana, Sosúa, Las Terrenas, and Santo Domingo.

She currently serves as Head of the Public Law and Foreign Investment Department.
